It amazes me how society puts athletes and coaches on a pedestal.
The article tells of an equipment manager claiming harassment, forced simulated rape with a baseball bat, then goes on to laud the perpetrator for his winning seasons. Merely winning games does not make a person unaccountable for their actions. Nor does 40 years of appropriate behavior make a person incapable of such an act.
